The Strawberry Patch

This time of the year you can find tons of strawberries nice and fresh at the stores, along the roadside stands, and you can pick them yourselves.  We picked ours at Beechwood Farms.  You can go and buy some already picked for you, but they are more expensive and you don't have any fun by not picking them yourselves!  Here are some pics from our little excursion last Saturday morning.

Connor had so much fun running up and down the rows of strawberries....he was showing me what a big one he had found.

Even grandma gets in on the action!

The sun was so bright....all the kids had squinty eyes!

And here is a Strawberry Cobbler (Gluten-Free) that I made with some of ours!
Recipe to come soon~!

Even though we picked an over-flowing gallon of Strawberries...they didn't even last 5 days!  We are going to have to go pick some more very soon!!

How do you like to eat your strawberries???

Love the black dress....shows off your slim figure! And the strawberries have been leaving my house just about as quickly as I pick and bring them in. Nice blog!! bal
